Gold Rush is an annual event that brings together most of York District’s pack units for fun, games, and camping.  The event is for the entire family and may be attended for all or part of the weekend.  Some only come on Saturday for the legendary Gold Rush games.  Scouts and young siblings will mine (pick up) gold nuggets (painted stones) that will allow them to pay to play each game.  After each game they will win a small prize.  After they run out of nuggets, they will return to the mine to find more.  If they are caught attempting to take more than the limit of nuggets, they will get some “jail time” on the sidelines.

See for additional details.

A Medical Form (Parts A & B) is need for anyone attending Gold Rush (Scouts, siblings  & adults).  If you have not turned them in this year, be sure to get them to Pack Trainer, before the campout.
