About Pack 108

Cub Scout Pack 108, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, has been chartered by Unity Presbyterian Church for over 50 years!  We are part of York District, one of the three Districts in the Palmetto Council.  Palmetto Council includes the following counties:  Spartanburg, Chester, Cherokee, Union, York, and Lancaster.  Palmetto Council has a strong program that provides many activities and camps for Scouts.

Pack 108 is a very active Pack.  We are proud of our tradition of monthly activities, regular advancement and recognition for Cub Scouts, parent volunteers, and Summertime activities and awards.

Some of the fun activities that our Scouts and families take part in are:

  • Pinewood Derby
  • Monster Truck Bash and Sleepover at Lowes Motor Speedway
  • Gold Rush Games and Campout
  • Nights at the Knights Baseball Game and Field Campout
  • Raingutter Regatta

Pack 108 serves and participates in the Fort Mill and South Carolina communities through activities such as:

  • Beach Sweep Campout at Myrtle Beach, SC
  • Scouting for Food – replenishes supplies in local food banks
  • Marching in the annual Fort Mill Christmas Parade

Above is only a short list of all of Pack 108’s activities and, of course, we also have 2-3 Den meetings per month and Pack meetings once per month.

Pack 108 has achieved Gold Level on our Journey to Excellence for the past 5 calendar years. Scouting’s Journey to Excellence is the BSA’s planning, performance, and recognition program designed to encourage and reward the success of our units, districts, and councils.
